First Aid Stress Tool (FAST)

First Aid Stress Tool (FAST)

The First Aid Stress Tool (FAST) can be used to relieve symptoms associated with various kinds of stress, offering immediate relief. Important: FAST is not intended as a replacement for consultation, diagnosis, or treatment, and we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional if symptoms persist.

The Pulse Points Used with FAST:

FAST utilizes pulse points based on acupuncture principles, where each point is linked to one of the five elements: Fire, Wood, Water, Metal, and Earth. Each element is associated with specific emotional responses:

  • Fire: Feeling abandoned or vulnerable
  • Wood: Feeling angry or frustrated
  • Water: Feeling scared or afraid
  • Metal: Feeling sad or unhappy
  • Earth: Feeling worried or hopeless

Left Wrist:

  • Fire
  • Wood
  • Water

Right Wrist:

  • Metal
  • Earth
  • Fire

How to Use the FAST Procedure:

  1. Step A: Identify an issue that bothers you. Place one of your wrists (palm up) into your other hand. Use three fingers of your bottom hand to gently contact the three pulse points located on the "thumb" side of the palm-up wrist.
  2. Step B (part 1): Place the open hand on your forehead, covering the two points related to stress (located halfway between the pupils and hairline). Breathe in and out slowly while focusing on the feeling associated with the issue.
  3. Step B (part 2): Switch hands and repeat the process with the three pulse points on your other wrist.
  4. Step C: Use FAST as frequently as needed. Sprays of NET Remedies #9 and #24 (available only through licensed practitioners) can support the release of associated stress.

FAST for Little Ones:

FAST can also help children handle stress. A parent or caregiver can guide a child by gently helping them contact the three pulses on their wrist and guiding their hand to their forehead.

If stress symptoms persist, NET (only used by licensed healthcare practitioners) may be needed to resolve the deeper elements of a stress pattern.
