Maintain Your NET Certification

To maintain your Certified NET Practitioner status, you must complete 3 NET seminar credits within every 3-year re-certification (re-Cert) cycle.

How the 3-Year Cycle Works:

  • The cycle begins in the year you were originally certified.
Example: If you were certified in January 2025, your first re-Cert cycle is 2025–2027.
  • You must complete 3 credits before the end of 2027 to maintain your certification.
  • The next cycle would then be 2028–2030, requiring another 3 credits by the end of 2030.

Note: Extra credits earned within a cycle beyond the required 3 cannot be carried over to the next cycle.

What Counts as a Seminar Credit:

  • NET Success Seminar = 2 credits
  • Other in-person NET seminars = 1 credit
  • Online seminars = 0 credits (Online credits were temporarily accepted post-COVID but are no longer eligible.)

If You Miss the Requirement:

If the required 3 credits are not completed during the 3-year cycle:

  • Your certification status will be placed on hold.
  • Once the missing credits are fulfilled, your status is reinstated immediately at the same certification level.
